Q2 2026 - Three Things We Love

This Quarter, We're Staying Grateful

Here are three things that CEO and founder, Laura Sage, has been thinking about since a recent visit to Bhutan and India…aka, getting back to CHILL's roots.

Pausing: Changes how we live

In Bhutan, there was a deep sense that life was meant to be experienced…not rushed through. People seemed to make time for contemplative walks with family, meaningful conversations, creative pursuits, artistic expression, and ceremonies. A beautiful reminder that pausing is not laziness or lack of ambition. It’s space. And, space changes how we think, lead, connect, and feel.

Senses: Enliven the world

India felt alive in every possible way. The colors, scents, tastes, sounds, music, textures. It was impossible not to feel affected by it all. The experience reinforced something powerful: our environment influences our nervous system constantly. What we consume through our senses can either elevate us, exhaust us, energize us, or ground us.

Presence: The ultimate luxury

Not the performative kind. The real kind. Long meals. Eye contact. Silence. Attention. In a world engineered for distraction, fully being somewhere (or fully being with someone) feels increasingly rare.

Perhaps that’s why mindfulness matters so much.

Pausing. Senses. Presence.

These are exactly the things we explore in mindfulness practice and why taking time to CHILL is so important. Not to escape life, but to experience it more fully.
